Listening to Myself
How much we feature in our own lives depends on how much we're listening to ourselves.

Great, so how am I not listening to myself?
Here are 5 ways you can create the opportunity:
1) Find a way to be still (mentally) and free from demands (notifications, people, tasks...), even just for 5 minutes. Notice how you're feeling inside. If you're not totally at peace and serene, you're trying to tell yourself something.
2) Engage with your hobbies / interests. There's a reason why you like those things. Don't over think it, book the time, do your thing. Afterwards, think back on why that was good for you.
3) Notice how you feel about your work, how it's nourishing you and serving others. Think about where you feature in the ecosystem of needs.
4) Be curious about the last time you were spontaneous, where it came from and what you did. If you can't think of anything, that's OK too.
5) This is a tricky one: how much do you love and accept yourself? When we're in a good place, this is a superpower of healthy boundaries, generosity, compassion, growth and so on.
The good news is, this isn't a fixed position. It ebbs and flows and we can always come back to it.
Ask yourself one question: "how am I featuring in my own life today?" and be compassionate to whatever the answer is.
How does this resonate? What do you think?
